Environmental Initiatives

What we can do to protect the future of the flower industry.

Under the mission of "We are Flower People," IMPACK creates happy lives for people through flowers
while working toward a sustainable society (SDGs).
From the perspectives of environmental protection and carbon neutrality, we develop new materials to reduce plastic use
and contribute to promoting environmental action across the entire floral industry.

Initiative 01

Development and Promotion of Eco-Friendly Sleeves (Flower Bags)

Impac has long offered eco-friendly sleeves, and as part of our continued commitment to sustainability, we have developed and launched the "Paper Sleeve" — a new environmentally conscious sleeve made from paper-based materials — steadily expanding our product lineup. Our range includes sleeves with film on one side, as well as a variety of printed products suited for different applications and events. Keeping a close eye on global environmental trends, Impac proposes the best solutions to our customers through the use of plastic-free and sustainable materials.

Participation in the Floral Industry's Environmental Action "well-blooming project"

As a materials manufacturer, we participate in the well-blooming project, an SDGs initiative for the floral industry promoted by the Japan Flower Council. Through this project, we work together with flower shops and companies across Japan to reduce single-use plastic wrapping, promote the transition to eco-friendly products, and contribute to creating a movement in the floral industry that future generations can be proud of.

"Chaco Ball": Kind to People, Plants, and the Environment

Chaco Ball and Chaco Plants, developed as part of our botanical business, are innovative horticultural media that allow you to grow plants cleanly and effortlessly even indoors. Made from natural materials, they can be washed and reused many times, reducing waste. We propose a sustainable green lifestyle built on three pillars: kind to people, kind to plants, and kind to the environment.
